Nepal is a beautiful country with a vibrant culture, but the sad reality is that only 1.27% of the 29.5 million people are following Jesus. The country is unreached as most Nepalis will not even know another Christian, let alone hear the Gospel.
The South Asian Bible Academy trains up lay pastors to be frontline church planters and supports them through their church-planting work.
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
Our local team travels a lot between the more than 200 church communities that they oversee, as well as their ongoing frontline church planting. They have to rely on the bus system to get them around, but it limits their ability to get to many villages that are in more remote locations. They are in need of one all-terrain vehicle that can get them into the villages that are harder to reach, and it will allow them to visit more of the churches more often.
Since all vehicles are imported into Nepal it raises the cost of cars and even the used ones can be expensive. They need $19,000 for a vehicle. Please prayerfully consider partnering with them in their ministry.
