SKP and family joined Global Fellowship in 1989 as our first missionaries with a vision to reach the Bengalis of North India. SKP, a gifted evangelist, brought 213 people to Christ as a new believer while in college and planted 8 congregations in the Calcutta slums during bible school. SKP and his wife are the founders of an FCRA-registered charity in India, and he served as it’s Director until 2008. Together they have planted 726 churches and have over 300 workers ministering in 18 states in North India.
After seeing his nationwide vision realized, he turned over daily leadership to his successor, Sudipta, and took a position as General Secretary of the India Missions Association in Hyderabad where he coordinated events and meetings with over 200 mission agencies. Now back in Kolkata, SKP continues to catalyze pioneer church-planting strategy across South Asia.
He is also establishing “Destiny”, a ministry to the Influential & Entrepreneurial demographic. As our Asia Director, he sits on our International Leadership Team and helps oversees all ministry in Asia (India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Thailand, and China).
