The O’Brien’s believe that all people should have an opportunity to hear the Gospel at least once in their lives. It is this core belief that led them to one of the largest unreached people groups in the world. In 2014, they began serving as missionaries and team leaders in Asia. They labored day-to-day in their Asian mega-city to share the Gospel, make disciples, and create a multiplication movement. The O’Briens began Bible studies and saw peoples eyes opened to the truth of the Gospel. While serving as missionaries Global Fellowship approached them to transition into new roles at the Global Fellowship International Home Office as the Director of Operations and marketing coordinator.  Intially, feeling the burden for the lost in their city they weren’t sure if this is what God had for them, however, after months of praying and seeking counsel they felt this is where God is leading them. God confirmed their move to Auburn, CA and went before them to prepare them for their new work.

It is their joy now to see how their work is affecting the unreached worldwide. They are able to support the mission field from Central Asia to North Africa. They are blessed to be able to develop strategy, coach, and encourage missionaries on the frontlines. It is through their work at Home Office that they see how their impact among the unreached has been expanded beyond their work in Asia.

The O’Briens met in college, formed a solid friendship that developed into a deep love for each other. They dated for a few years and were married in 2013. Less than a year after they were married God called them to go serve as missionaries. Since being missionaries, God has blessed them with three wonderful children, who come alongside them in their work as they seek to share Good News in the darkest places.

Please prayerfully consider partnering with the O’Brien family.
