Bangladesh
Be a part of a great ministry with a holistic approach to ministry. The spiritual and physical needs of people in Bangladesh are many and the workers are few. Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated countries in the world with 168 million people and more than 99% of the country does not know Jesus nor have access to the gospel.
Our local partner, Gospel for Bangladesh, has been operating in the country for more than 20 years with a focus and dedication to proclaiming the gospel among the unreached. Through their work people from Animist, Hindu, and Muslim backgrounds have put their faith in Jesus. They currently have 15 churches spread mainly through the north of Bangladesh.
There are many opportunities to connect with individuals and families to share the good news. They currently utilize some humanitarian partnerships to support struggling communities, they also host summer camps, sports camps, and community events.
Gospel for Bangladesh is a religious registered organization and has eleven churches in the country. The leaders of these churches have a strong desire to see all people come to know Jesus as their savior. They also recognize some of the physical challenges people face living in Bangladesh and work hard to meet the physical needs while focusing on the spiritual needs.
The methods of outreach and service to the community are broad, several churches are offering free school services, some offer sewing classes to empower women in the rural community and even free medical service to some of the same underserved communities. All of the churches are enriching their bodies through Biblical seminars, workshops, holiday celebrations, mentoring, counseling and the list goes on.
