Global Fellowship preaches the Gospel in the least-reached regions of the world. These communities are less than 2% Christian, with little or no access to a church or the Gospel. Your financial gifts mobilize our teams and provide them with the resources necessary to plant churches in unreached communities worldwide. We send 100% of your donation to the field to maximize the fruitfulness of your resources and our missionaries' efforts. Through this, thousands of lives are transformed each year as people come to a saving knowledge of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Global Fellowship respects the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability and recognizes the value ECFA accreditation can provide. After considering the requirements and how they align with our ministry model, we have determined that pursuing accreditation is not the best stewardship decision for Global Fellowship at this time.
Global Fellowship operates under a 100% model. Contributions designated for missionaries and ministry projects are used for those purposes rather than being redirected to fund our home-office operations. As a result, we process a significant amount of contribution revenue while retaining only a comparatively small amount for organizational administration.
The cost of an annual audit is generally influenced by an organization’s overall revenue, transaction volume, and complexity—not simply by the amount available for administration. For Global Fellowship, that cost would represent a substantial use of home-office resources.
We believe strong stewardship means more than obtaining a particular accreditation. It means carefully safeguarding funds, maintaining clear financial records, providing board oversight, using appropriate financial controls, and keeping as much ministry support in the field as possible. We have therefore chosen to devote those limited resources to missionary support and essential ministry operations rather than incur an audit expense that would require us to retain more donor support for overhead.
This decision does not reflect a lower commitment to transparency or accountability. We believe our model calls us to an especially high standard of stewardship because we are responsible both for administering a large volume of missionary support and for doing so with a lean administrative structure.
Global Fellowship maintains board oversight, designated-fund tracking, financial controls, outside professional accounting support, and public financial reporting. Our annual reports, financial information, governance documents, and Candid profile are available for donors and ministry partners who would like to learn more.
The application process lasts about a month and includes the online application and an interview. A complete breakdown of the process can be found on our Application Process page.
There are no formal educational prerequisites. Before sending you to the field, we will ensure that you are well-prepared based on your experience and needs. During your time at the Home Office, you will be considered a Missionary in Training. You will be assigned a mentor who will equip you for cross-cultural ministry.
