Bridge Project
Building Kingdom Connections Across Cultures
A global pen pal initiative connecting Western believers with church planters in the 10/40 Window for encouragement, prayer, and lasting friendship in Christ.
What Is The Bridge Project?
The Bridge Project creates a simple way for believers in different parts of the world to know and encourage one another. Each participant is matched with a cross cultural partner, most often a Western believer paired with a local church planter, to share stories, pray for each other, and build a real friendship centered on Christ.
This is more than exchanging messages. It is a chance to walk alongside another believer, to carry one another’s burdens, and to remember that the body of Christ reaches far beyond our own daily setting. Even across distance, language, and culture, God uses these friendships to strengthen His people.

Why This Matters
God is building His Church in every corner of the world, and He invites His people to take part in that work together. In many places, especially within the 10/40 Window, church planters serve in areas of deep spiritual need with very little support or encouragement. At the same time, many believers in the West want a meaningful way to pray, care, and stay connected to what God is doing among the nations.
The Bridge Project brings these two sides together through simple, genuine friendship. A few messages each month can become a source of hope, courage, and prayer. Partners remind one another that they are not serving, growing, or trusting God alone. When followers of Jesus link arms across borders, the whole Church grows stronger. That is the heart behind The Bridge Project. Ordinary believers taking part in God’s work through friendship, prayer, and shared encouragement.

Who It’s For
The Bridge Project is designed for two groups who share the same faith and the same desire to encourage others.
For Western Believers
This is for Christians who want a meaningful way to pray for and support God’s work among the nations, who value cross cultural friendship, and who want to grow in global awareness and spiritual maturity. It is a good fit for those who are willing to consistently encourage someone serving in a challenging place.
For Local Church Planters
This is for church planters who are serving in spiritually significant and often difficult settings, and who would welcome relational support from the wider body of Christ. It is for those who value prayer, friendship, and connection with another believer in a different part of the world.
Bridge Kids
Bridge Kids is a child friendly extension of The Bridge Project. It creates safe, simple, joy filled connections between children in different parts of the world through short messages, drawings, and prayers.
Bridge Kids is a great fit for families who want to help their children grow in a heart for God’s global Church, for kids who enjoy writing or sharing pictures, and for children of church planters who would enjoy a Western friend. All communication is parent led and age appropriate. It is a beautiful way to help children see that they are part of something much bigger than themselves. God is at work around the world, and they get to be part of that story too.
