Kyler and Claire Malarae, along with their two children Brody and Kenna are serving on the island of Iejima, Japan off the coast of Okinawa.
Kyler and Claire’s eyes were first opened to the need of the island back in 2016, and have been serving there short-term ever since.
In 2022 they moved to Osaka, Japan where they learned Japanese language, shared the gospel, and gained hands-on experience in church planting.
In 2026 the Malaraes moved to the island, and are working to revitalize the church there with their good friends and ministry partners Fumio and Mariko Nomura (who moved there almost 50 years ago).
Please pray for the Malarae family that God would spark revival not only on the island of Iejima, but that he would also use the islanders as a catalyst for the rest of Japan which is .05% Christian.
