Our ministry team in Aland has grown significantly, creating an urgent need for safe, reliable transportation. Currently, we have 10 adult team members (local and international) and 5 children. Moving safely together through checkpoints and sensitive areas in Aland has become increasingly challenging, especially given the security concerns and risks involved in our church-planting work.
Our mission involves discreetly sharing the Gospel, discipling new believers, and establishing a network of underground churches in one of the most spiritually challenging environments in the world. Reliable transportation directly impacts our ability to safely disciple new believers, host visiting short-term teams, and strengthen local leadership through ongoing training.
We are specifically seeking funds to purchase a used 15-seat Toyota Hiace minibus. This vehicle is ideal because it’s common locally, reliable, affordable to maintain, and spacious enough for our whole team. Importantly, minibuses carrying families typically pass checkpoints more easily, greatly improving the safety and efficiency of our travel.
