Overview: Global Fellowship is a Christian body dedicated to direct evangelism and church planting in the least reached geographies. Global Fellowship is looking for a shepherd leader who will join our team and help us achieve our goal of sending and supporting missionaries to the least reached regions of the world.
What you'll be doing:
We seek a committed and engaging individual who will design, implement, and manage the recruitment and mobilization of missionaries to various fields of service. Successful candidates will be exceptionally skilled in cross-cultural communication and outreach. You will support us in building new partnerships with ministry leaders across the world. This position is perfect for someone looking for an opportunity to advance the kingdom of God by coaching and advising prospective missionaries. The essential job functions include:
- Develop and maintain recruitment strategies.
- Recruit potential members for service with Global Fellowship.
- Networking and building relationships with training schools, colleges, conferences, etc.
- With the Director of Traning, orient new western Global Fellowship members for missionary work after their training school program.
- Collaborate with Social Media Coordinator to promote specific fields in need of workers.
- Oversee the creation and ensure the quality of the content presented in Global Fellowship’s equipping programs and platforms.
- Working closely with the Regional Directors and Co-Executive Directors to determine the best locations for sending missionaries and partnering.
- Oversee the progression of potential members as they progress through the “funnel,” helping them find their “fit” in the Kingdom and GF.
- When appropriate, promote and onboard Mission Stream missionaries and the MissionStream Team.
- Share the vision and values of GF to prospective missionaries and collaborate with the Director of Development and IT Coordinator to promote opportunities on the GF website and other avenues.
- Raise personal support.

This individual is accountable and able to recruit and coach prospective missionaries. You are also expected to possess the ability to build, maintain, and oversee partnerships with ministry leaders across the world.
A little about your background:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a missionary.
- Experience coaching, advising and building prospective missionaries.
- Proven track record of success in church mobilization and networking.

- Strong ability to communicate professionally in all environments
- Empathetic and perceptive – you can see things from others’ perspectives.
- Possess leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage the mobilization staff.
- Ability to travel internationally to understand needs among GF teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a productive relationship with training schools, colleges, conferences, etc.
- Capable of working from home or office for remote communication and travel to visit conferences, training schools, etc.
- Wise, dependable, and able to follow a consistent routine.
- Self-disciplined, energetic, and able to take the initiative.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate well with others.
- Mature in faith and possess a strong ability to make the hard call if a candidate’s acceptance isn’t good for them or GF.
